The straight coupler will not give you the length you need to make the connection. The universal joint part #013464 will have the proper 3/4-36 spline for your manual box and a 3/4 smooth bore for the shaft, the smooth end will need to be welded. You will need 1.5" between the shafts for proper shaft engagement in the universal joint.
