Soooooooo There was the 72 Swinger that morphed into a 512 Hemi Denny ride, the 74 that I cut my chops on that is somewhere overseas now. The 72 Gold Duster that made it home to its original owner. The 72 Demon that made it from a Challenger Gary rolling shell in South Florida to a 496 hell raiser in NC. The 73 Tasmanian Devil that transformed into a small block She-Devil in moulin rouge.

Love the houndstooth skirt. That is a mopar thing because 70 barracuda interiors could be ordered in a houndstooth pattern

A lot of before and afters. A lot of cruises. Man my kids have grown. So now this thing has followed me home. We will see if it makes the cut as a project I nail to the wall or one I let go....

hahaha. Around '73 or '74. I saw a white genuine AAR, with column shift, bench seat w/ hounds-tooth upholstery, for sale at a used car lot on Aurora Ave in Seattle. I couldn't believe anyone would order it that way, but there it was.

Price was right delivered to the shop. Still need to sell one though....Point was to build my own shop. Lol

Crawled all over this car. A lot of good parts, but likely not worth my time and effort. Was originally a slant car now with 318. So that was the first lie the seller told. Rotten in some places, dented in others. When it is not 10000 degrees and I have some actual time I can decide for real before I part it.

The bad part is, that AMD F'd us on quarter panels for the Duster, Demon, Sport bodies a while back. I kinda sorta need a basic 72 body for a future project. I also need another hole in my head! LOL :realcrazy:

Well I can tell you it has potential but not for what I want to get into. It’s missing some weird stuff here and there. I have all but decided I will not touch it.

Send him on down (or up) the road! I've got 6 project cars that I may not live long enough to get done unless I actually get to work on them full time when I retire. Fortunately, they are all inside out of the weather, and patiently waiting their turns. :)

They did that to dart swingers from 70 to 76 too.

Awesome! Coronet 440 or Coronet 500 trim? I fixed a 66 Coronet 440 for my Mom about 40 years ago. Paid $35 for the rust free body...put a $100 318/904 in it, painted it R4 red and used the white interior out of her rusty 68 Coronet 500 in it. Good cheap car! You can't buy a hubcap for $35 nowadays....lol.
