I saw on Facebook today that a friend of mine (James Baker) was involved in a wreck at the track. I met Jim years ago when he started racing a converted late model dirt track car to a drag car when he couldn’t pass the required physical. Two years ago he bought another friend of mine roadster. I have zero details of the wreck but man he was sure a great guy. My local machine shop counter guy told me about him years ago and told me to walk up and introduce myself as he was VERY quiet till you met him. I did and we were friends ever since. God speed my friend.

Always tough to hear. He left this world doing what he loved.

Sorry for the loss of your friend.
just remember when your doing the burnout, he is amongst the smoke, watching.

My son is at the track and said it was a real downer. He may have had a medical issue, rolled the car 7 times on the guardrail and hit a light pole.

They stopped the race today before it started so they will probably be racing for 30,000.00 tomorrow. Glad I’m not there honestly.

I hate to hear this Sir ! I experienced the same thing one time !! So I know how you feel ! Prayers for his family and friends !! RIP SIR

So sorry to hear that news. I remember seeing his dirt track car run there from time to time. I wasn't able to go to Keystone Friday, but was thinking what a great day for their big money event. My thoughts prayers are with his family and you as well. 2020 is definitely one we will all want to forget for many reasons.

Very unfortunate, he was doing what he loved. Condolences to his family and friends. 65'
