Anybody watch Headbytes Porting on Youtube?

He's a two bit scammer. Did his work in a garden shed. Ask any real head Porter about his work or do a Google search on his name. Lots of scammed people...

I think he got run outta business a few years ago.

Seems like a lot of the complaints are about him on the work he has done on customers heads not necessarily the DIY advice he gives. Too bad cause a he's gives a very detail showing what to do for the backyard builder.

headlice more like it , not heard much good doing asearch

What to do wrong! Honestly that guy doesn't have a clue. Please don't follow his advice.

That’s a good one:thumbsup:

Or...... “Headlyce”

There are some videos(horror shows) about what some people got from him after forking over pretty good $$$....... and waiting forever to get it.

He might be YouTubes most infamous head porting scammer.

If he’d have just done the job he promised, in a somewhat timely manner ....... he’d have had all the work he could handle.

I watched one, once.

LOL. Yep. There is more than one way get a port shaped and sized the way you want it, but I’ve never seen anyone use the exact same tools, or techniques.

It’s hard to show someone how to port when you are standing there, let alone on video. Of course, using YouTube as marketing is a different topic.

I really feel sorry for Headbytes... I do. The guy obviously likes to port heads. And he's a legend in his own mind (most of us are!). But his backyard techniques and out and out fraud means he has no credibility anymore.

I pride myself on doing most of my own work over the last 60 years. I pulled down my first engine when i was 10...Buick straight 8.

And I have raced with homebuilt and even junkyard engines when money was tight. Nothng wrong with running what you already have. I have done many cheap rebuilds with the engine in situ (that's in place for those of you in Rio Linda). Again...not a problem getting by on a budget.

Any legal issues he has he brought on himself. I feel sorry for those who fell for his videos.

I haven't always been so critical... I damn near bought some ProComp heads after see ing his visdeo on those heads. But I took a step back and did some research. I don't fall for those shiny objects much anymore. I'm old and I can't afford too many more mistakes.

........And it doesn't take long to crop up complaints, either........

By the way we have not heard from "Uncle Tony" lately................

Guys that have that much time to make a a homemade tv show out of something are usually selling snake oil or just making it up as they go.

It becomes persona and less genuine..then their reality is blurred and they become delusional.

Spiraling down the internet toilet bowl they all go....

why work when you canhave a u tube Chanel and have people send you money gifts and you make off the adds the more viewers you get the more you make and you wonder why the world is going to ****

Head bites and Doctor J should spend some time together.
Maybe that's what they've been doing, each other. "Headbytes" might be a metaphor.
Youtube can be a dangerous thing for the DIY crowd. I've tried correcting a few misconceptions..but the lame uploader use another account to troll... lmao. Sucks to be them.

STOP CLICKING THE LINK , DON'T GIVE HEADLICE ANY MORE VIEWS $$

That video says it all. And unfortunately if someone works alone they are hard to trust. A built business that is established is a much safer way in my opinion. Cough** sdss

Easier to sue, more impactful when bad word of mouth gets around, otherwise the big guys screw you and shove ya between the cracks just as or more often.
It's the people that think its easy and or cheap 'or want to think that it is' that jump for that junp from rooftops.. they are usually the ones. The next best thing is not.
How much is there left after 50 years of the same. No new magic tricks anymore.
