My buddy's Dart Sport had one as well. Quickly disabled when he got it. The contact wires are a larger gauge, if memory serves.

What was really neat, was the fuel-miser thing that would cause the left (?) fender mounted turn indicator to glow if you got on the gas too hard. On a '75 Dart Sport, with the original stock 318. It must have been some sort of vacuum switch.
