Hi everyone
I would like to switch from single exhaust to duels. Is there a conversion kit made for doing this or is there a crossmember made that would make it easer to the pipes. Thanx in advance

@cosgig used to modify the cross-members if I remember correctly. None made for early A's with duals. Check with Accurite LTD and Flowmaster for dual exhaust kits.

I believe Accurate mentions the crossmember has to be modified.

I did the trans crossmember from details from a post on here in my 66' Barracuda in my shop - really easy..
I went TTI - called Mike and gave him the exhaust manifold cast numbers and they made the complete 2-1/2" system.
Cost was like $800.00 but came with everything I needed.
IF I had to do it again- I'd go 2" because on my 318 with factory manifolds its too much exhaust noise inside cabin.
I will add a picture from my phone in a minute. Gotta switch devices.

get a 2.5 pipe coupler and cut in half lengthwise, cut out the trans mount and weld in the 1/2 shell. Trim to taste.

I’m still doing them, but it’s becoming harder to find any cores to work with. I just did the only 2 I had for a couple of customers!
