At least with cold and winter, you can keep layering to keep warm...

With heat, Once you're naked, there's not any more that you can take off....

Heat and I don't get along like we used to. Some of you know...... in the 80's early 90's I worked on HVAC service and some install. Spent LOTS of time on rooftops. Then I worked for Motorola installing E911 equipment. Spent my share of time on mountan/ hilltops and tower climbing. A lot of that, tho, was 'cooler' breeze etc

I’ll take the heat over the cold. Granted, it was a lot easier to tolerate when I was younger and working outside, but I have never tolerated temps below
40 F.

Spent a lot of my early days working on farms and ranches in Texas. High temps were just another day - grain to combine and hay to haul would be good and dry. Cold temps were miserable and often associated with precipitation. If a cow is going to have trouble calving, you can bet it will be late at night, freezing cold and in drizzle to freezing rain.

When temps +/- 100 F become oppressive is when its 20-120 days in a row, without rain.

Nowdays, I like central heat and air

Damn bud, with temps like that may as well move to Florida. At least the winters dont suck so bad. The humidity makes the heat stick to ya, though.

I live in Southern Alberta, where it can be a just a smidgen windy! People think because it's windy, it's cool. Nope, it's like a convection oven!

102 down here in the LC valley. I spent some time on the south fork Clearwater fly fishing and skinny dipping.

Up here in CT, we set an all time record for July today. 20 days of 90* plus temperature this month. If your not in the sunshine it's not too bad. The garage gets nasty around noontime. A few days were really brutal; 95* with a 75* dew point. The crabgrass has taken over the lawn. Light green colored grass with wide blades and it's thick, and some days it doesn't dry up till 4 PM even in the sunshine.

We've just had the hottest July in history. 26 days with temps over 28(82F) plus humidity into the low 40's(104F) and hardly any rain. Been brutal.

I live in southern Manitoba. Our temperature range goes from +40C to -40C. When it’s +40 and I’m sweatin my can off I remember that day in Jan. That I was boosting my kids car freezing my fingers trying to hook up cables. I smile. The reverse is true for -40 I enjoy all the seasons and I like to ***** the weather is a perfect topic to practice my bitchin and every body is willing to join in.

I had to translate that as I don't speak "C" LOL
