I have 4 custom made sets of positive and negative battery cables for 67,68,69 A body cars. These are made to fit small block V8 with a mini starter. May fit regular sized starter as well if large ring terminal on the starter end is bent back straight. These are not "concours correct" for a 100 point restoration, however they feature high temp relay to solenoid contactor wire, high temp shrink tubing, the solenoid, and relay ring terminals are high temp plated steel terminals. The wires at the starter end have a high temp fiberglass insulation shielding tubing over them to help protect the wires from exhaust manifold radiant heat. These wires are also of a correct length to actually fit an A body and allow the wiring to clip in at the firewall mount. This extra length is something the repops do not have. I have 4 sets of these. The pix show the positive mocked up on a 67 A body with small block V8 and mini starter. You will recieve a positive cable and a negative cable set. Price is set at $168.30 shipped to all 50 states. Located in west Texas, I accept PayPal.

PS: If any of you have a 67-69 big block A body with an unmodified, uncut positive cable, I would love to get the measurement from center of hole to center of hole on the positive cable.

As always, Matt's work is meticulous both in planning and execution. I already ordered a set and they came in yesterday. Outstanding again and can't wait to see them on the car, which will be completely rewired/modded. Extra 2 inches never hurts either. I meant for routing in the engine bay, seriously.
Thanks for putting me one step closer to my build.
:thankyou:

Thanks for the kudos Dan. I know we talked about these a few times after I kept ordering the supposed repops , that were even shorter than the burnt up OEM one I had, and then having to return them. After doing that multiple times, I figured I was gonna have to handle it and make what was needed myself, and here we are today. Thanks again Dan for asking for updates to keep me focused on this project as I hunted down just the right materials to put this all together.

Always happy to be a product tester and one more item crossed off my list. Gonna be nice to pop the hood and see all new, clean wiring. Pair your battery cables with one of the "Mopar Battery Kits" and it's gonna look nice.
Thanks again and keep coming up with cool ideas.

Matt. I'm interested. I'll send you a PM.
Just found similar to you. The repop is 46.125" eye center to eye center and won't work with the mini-starter and my car's headers.
Another thing I noticed was the original'67 battery feed was about 20" and the repop 14". Go figure.

I also ordered a set from Matt, and I can concur, they’re beautifully made. I’m doing the entire swap on Nellas car, mini starter and all. If anybody has ever changed their old wiring for a new set like these, it’s like night and day from a performance standpoint. I’ll be doing the swap ASAP, I’ll post pics of the process!
