Stock bolts used to have a 3 torque cycle life: and 2 of those were spent before it left the line. Once when the big end was honed, 2nd was when the motor was assembled, and 3rd when you torqued them back on. ARP's have a different metallurgy so they torqued differently and everyone suggests you get the big end resized when going to an ARP or 180000 psi bolt. Not sure if the 180000 psi bolts had the same fatigue cycle, probably not. better bolts have a machined spot on the end for a bolt stretch meter instead of a hard torque setting.
