I don’t watch sports, none, but my beer is now a supporter of the Roughriders. I’m good with that. They probably need all the help they can get right now.

Go Riders go!

(That's a Canadian football team for those who don't know!) :)

Time to switch beers!

You must originally be from Saskatchewan since that seems to be the Old Milwaukee equivalent there.

Never seen that beer. Is it any good?

LOL, many will say a definitive NO! I love it. Not sure why I changed years back......probably because Rainier was super cheap when we zipped across the line! It's not a weak beer, that's for sure. Definitely a strong flavor.

When the Roughriders played the other Roughriders, who wins?

"Old Milwaukee, taste as great as its name.." that was the keg beer that was at most shoestring budget parties ($39.99 for a quarter keg if I remember right) in '84-'86 high school here. A few other kegs showed up (Milwaukee's Best, the rare 'Keystone') but this was the cheapest, and everyone remembers the first beer they got sick on! First question about the party "Whats on tap, Old Mill or the Beast? " No, we got Bud Light..."Whoa, who's party is this?" Then there was the 'Coors light party ball' parties, you were the first 10 in the door or you were assed out and it always ended up in the pool!

My brother who lives in Manitoba buys Pilsner...claims his teenage boys never steal any from the shop fridge

I gave my 13 year old a taste of beer at a wedding. I got the nastiest India Pale Ale microbrew they served, "Elysian Space Dust 8.5%" and let him have the first swig. Oh, the grimace! "How can you drink this stuff, its disgusting!"...Mission accomplished....

Ha! That's what any good Scotsman like myself does when I have guests over!
"Hey can I get you a beer?"
"Sure-what do you have?"
"Pilsner."
"Ah, I'll have a coffee, thanks."

Well....... it's okay, but not my favorite.
It has a bit of ''rasp'' at the end of it.
Ice cold, it's not too bad.
Overall, I find that it's better than Molson Canadian.
I always loved the label though..........

Huge craft beer fan here... But man, something about a simple porch pounder that just always seems to be my preference.

Case in point: Diet Millers!
