Any tips on adjusting a Hurst Promatic2 ?

Well I finally had the time to get this thing adjusted again. Don't know how I got it so far off on my last attempt.
But think I have it right now. Took it for a long drive with lots of starting, stopping, running through all the gears, including park and reverse, and using the ratchet feature. Worked perfectly every time.
So I have the same setup promatic 2 and a 42RH using the shift arm supplied with the shifter. I have all my gears except drive to neutral. Where did you set your adjustment from? From first or neutral or somewhere else? And are you dropping your pin in from the top or pushing it up from the bottom?
