72 egg shell dart grill

what can you coat the grill with on a 72 dart. it is so prone to breaking. seems like an epoxy spray and plastic coat or something. anyone got a good idea?

bump, back to the grill as paint gets closer

Grills are hard to paint and trying to sand them to get the paint to stick is hard so I use a water borne cleaner or Alcohol then use a scratch pad and try to sand the best I can then go over it with cleaner again and use a adhesion promoter then use a good quality paint with flex additive like for plastic bumpers or plastic trim.
Works for me....
