Had something built I have always wanted. A split deck tilt open trailer. Fixed deck with ramps for golf cart( finally own one) and tilt deck which makes it easier for me to load/ unload the car.
Lotta tongue weight on my 1/2 ton, need bags or a weight distribution hitch, with cart on front.
First time out in my life with a way to get around for me and the wife at the track. Full weekend on tap racing. Cant wait.View attachment 1715573828

I would definitely recommend a weight distributing hitch for that setup. Your truck can handle pulling it just fine, but transferring the weight a little really makes it feel so much better.
My old 1999 Ram 2500 with 5.9 gas engine felt like a death trap wandering all over no matter how I setup the load. Weight distributing hitch made it very comfortable. Same trailer and hitch setup is now behind my 2008 Ram 1500 with 5.7 Hemi and it tows better than my old truck.
It won’t feel like a diesel and fifth wheel, but way better than without a weight distributing hitch.
