Any tips on adjusting a Hurst Promatic2 ?

Did you have to adjust the pin in or out? Also if I try and drop the pin in from the top I have interference from the kick down lever.

I loosened the locknut, and screwed the piece with the pin forward or backward till the pin just dropped into the hole on the trans lever. Also on the pin going through from the top or bottom, I may have bent the trans lever or shift lever up or down, dont remember, too make clearance. From the top just worked better on mine.
this pic looks like there's interference but it does clear.
