Out of curiosity, I'll be weighing my 68 Dart later today and figured I'd see what you folks think it weighs. These are the specs:

68 Dart 2-door sedan, 340, iron heads, aluminum intake, long tube headers w/ duals to the bumper, aluminum radiator, 727, 8-3/4 w/ 10" drums, HD leaf springs, factory non-power 10.9" discs up front with manual steering. Wheels are 15x7 and 15x8 steelies w/ 215/65's and 275/60's. Car has 2"x2" .085" subframe connectors, bucket seats, 1/2 tank of gas, and prob ~15lbs of tools in the trunk w/ no spare tire. I think that covers everything.

What do you think it weighs? I'll guess 3325 without me in it.

A true lady never reveals her weight.
But I’ll guess 3425

Go to the dump with something minor

@273 I disagreed because I don't get it,lol.

I was just sitting here dumbfounded by your X lol

I mean the dump will give you the weight of your car with you in it but you can subtract your weight.
And by minor I mean something small you don't mind putting in your trunk not like a old fridge or strove strapped on your roof lol.

it's almost 7pm, how freekin' late is the dump open up there? :poke:

A couple good guesses here. Weight was 3240. Nice guess Mr. Sinister! It was 3430 with me in it - so scapackbee was close too. It wasn't at a dump - it was weighed at a local industrial supplier. I have a buddy a couple towns over with 4-corner scales, so I may toss it on those next time I swing by his place.

Guess I missed the part where you were gonna get it weighed lol

My Barracuda is 3209

I’d thought a Dart would be closer to 3300. But the sedan/post and manual steering must help.

But I have power steering, factory heavy console, thick 1.14 T-bars, after market scat seats, aluminum heads/intake/4-core radiator, TTI thick headers/exhaust/tips, aluminum 15x9 cast rims (not light), front/rear hollow sway bars, frame connectors, one plastic horn
