I know i am going to start a discussion here. I am about to put in a MSD distributor and need to change plug wires. Have a FiTech EFI also. What plug wires have you guys had good experience with? I have Taylor's 8mm now, they are okay. Anybody got better suggestions/ideas? Thanks

Taylor is the way IMO. I use 8MM with factory style boots. Choose the right ones based on your ignition!

I have always used MSD , 50 ohms per foot resistance , never a problem .
Check , their about the lowest resistance out there .
I have had them on my fast 2.0 f.i. for about 10 yrs now .

How do you like your Fast EFI? I have Fitech on one ride, have a Fast unit to put on my Dart whenever I get it done.

"Whatever" brand you decide on, call the company and get a 50' roll and make your own. That way you can make them as long or short as you need.

So far so good , easier than I expected overall , still need to lean it down more . Have had no trouble w/ wiring interferance , or anything like that , but the overall wire sizing was way off for a 68 barracuda , dont know what it was designed to fit close on . I went w/ the fast dist. to control timing , which is based on a chevy dist./very short , took a hell of a bunch of grinding/fitting on the pass. side front of my raised port heads .
I would recommend the locked out MSD mopar dist . for sure on the big blocks .
I do have an a once in a while backfire thru the throttle body ,after letting off the gas and turning a corner ,when I first touch the gas pedal after completing the turn , havent been able to figure that out , as it only happens about once every other time I drive the car , "which aint much."
I jacked the initial timing up to 24* , it seemed to like it .

OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS ON THE OCCASIONAL BACK FIRE , probly something my dumbass aint got set right -------------------Bob

I was just remembering the old "Supershops" $7.99 set of Taylor "universal" 6mm blue wires with cheap 90 boots? Maybe it as Mallory?

On 4 diff hotrods I`ve built, the MSD 8.5 wires all have been too long and had to be fitted , one set even came w/ the correct pliers and little mandrel for redoin them.

i've usually used taylor and never had any issues with them. on our dart though i went with MSD because of the Vari boot.

I'm running Accel Ceramics now but have used Taylor's for years.
I have a Holley Terminator and Dual Sync dizzy and I believe it said to avoid using low resistance wires, not sure if Fitech says the same...Not sure what problem it would cause either, just remeber reading it.
