Differences in Formula S Emblems

ahh, hold on....your absolutely correct, the '443 is (wrong?) in this online '65 parts book http://jholst.net/65-parts-manual/fenders.pdf (printed Sept 1964!) as I took off 2 442s from my never been apart 65...? WTF? Good catch. My pins are both horizontal on a 4-1-65 build date. I hope this at least debunks the "1 'S' badge on a 65" and '442's and 443's were side specific' thoughts. @Stephen Mulkey , did your 66 and 65 pic research show pin orientation? can you share that pic of the 65 that was 'not as flat' as the 66? Pins horizontal or vertical? Now I'm curious......Here is a supporting post on your side.
"Chrysler Parts Catalogs (online?) show:
#2579 442 fender emblem '65 Formula S
#2579 443 fender emblem '66-'68 Formula S
...65 'S' emblems mounting posts were horizontal in placement and 66-68 were vertical. "
Even the 'bowed' 65 '442s dont follow the '65 curved fender 100%. Ill correct that post calling out the 443 part number as bad data.
