Differences in Formula S Emblems

The light bow wont prevent it from mounting on a flat 66 fender for sure, not much to it as you stated, and not as much as needed to follow the rounded 65 fender perfectly. I think my resource could be a typo as the '442 part is not even in the numerical listing in the book printed Sept 1964, yet Im holding 2 of them. Did they make a running change from the flat 443 ("hey, these 443's dont really follow this fender...") to the (barely) rounded 442 after Sept 64, then revert back to original 'flat' 443 after 65? Another Mopar mystery....
@Hyper_pak can you put a straight edge across the backs of both (vertically) and tell us if there is any discernable bow to the horizontal pinned part number?
On your badges did they touch the fender around the outer edge or was it just close to the curve of the fender
