Im restoring a Black steering wheel (smooth plastic finish) My question is what type of paint do you recommend for a steering wheel restoration. Thanks for any help

We have been talking yesterday. The dude that restored it used gloss paint and it didn't look right.
yes if the horn pad is kind of a satin black the wheel should be the same right?
I would say so. I think the wheels are cast in color when made and not painted. They were a medium gloss and not base/clear like my restored one is. Kind of hard to duplicate but the restorers do. You might want to poke around on the internet for restoration shops. Their photos and captions might give some information what they use.
