Sturgis 80th Anniversary is going on this year.

Have been our there 3 different times over the years, always big turn outs.

It was pretty crazy in the early 80s. I lived in Rapid City for 5 years.

Yeah, im kinda hoping the bikers put a quick end to that
(Im not too fond of the way the Indians are being treated nowadays, with their sovereign nations, free college and casinos)
 
I worked with two guys about 25 yrs ago that rode their bikes from Texas to Sturgis almost every year...then they would have to rent a box truck to get them back after they broke down on the road.

The photos they took looked like Mad Max and Humungus would have fit right in. The funniest was a big, burly biker/vendor with stuff scattered over several tables. He had a sign posted that said, “Shoplifters will be butt-f....d.”

THat is some funny stuff.
I'll bet Kawasaki owners were blatantly trying to steal from the guy.
