I have a bunch of 6 pt bolts in a bucket that are the right size for that hole....but have not gotten there....the engine aint going anywhere as of yet...lol

you see those distributors selling for stupid prices on ebay....i bought 2 of them off FABO for 25 dollars each....and one from at MATS a couple of years ago from a fellow swap meet partner for 40 bucks...

I think what cudafever is referring to is this tachometer that I have that just has two wires and I believe it's ran off of a little generator that's plugged into one of those kind of distributors. My thing is I have all MSD now which of course you know because you've helped me with, but I wouldn't want to go back to a factory distributor just to run this tachometer. But I really like the tachometer I think it's cool as heck...

Well....probably haul the car over to Bakersfield in October or November....might have the TF engine in car....hate to go 300 miles each way with a brand new until tested engine but WTF....

Getting back to this Dart.....
I pulled the intake off and the rockers and pushrods out of it....I was not sure of the lifters as i have gotten two sets mixed up....if they were mixed up...these should be new lifters on a used cam....as the other 264/268 destroyed itself during break in which would have had the used lifters from this cam on a new cam....which is a no no..
I removed the lifters and far as I can tell they are new...So to make sure ...I removed them and installed a new set of Howards EDM lifters...I see no marks of any kind on the removed lifters indicating they had been run before.....just wanted to make sure...
Got it mostly back together...did not put the intake back on....not sure about using the SV vs the Victor 340.....SV came in a package deal with another set of heads...Suppose to be ported by Hughes...I know it is gasket matched.....
I have a Victor 340 that Brian at IMM reworked last year....it is on the 360 that is on the Dart now.....have to flip a coin....
So need to confer with driver as whether to swap out and go to Bakersfield or go to Bakersfield with current 360.....

yeah.....ANRA...has two races...October 10-11 and November 7-8...Also Bracket races at the end of sept 26-27....going to watch weather...if it is hot....staying home..
we towed with it once to Bakersfield...pretty boring drive....lol.....Cruise Control.....up and down the hill....

was looking at the WCHR race in October.... but I imagine that ANRA deal is about 1/2 the $$ to enter. Of course that’s reflected in payout, but I don’t look at that anyways. There’s that mopar race in Sac if you’re feeling really adventurous
