Driver Glass Help

I have a driver window that’s been pretty scratched up by the old window whisker’s. Finally got new ones but what can be done to reduce or remove or polish the glass?

Depending on how deep the scratches are, you either have to replace the glass or use some glass buffing compound on them. I'd try buffing first and see how good it gets. You might be able to live with some minor ones left.
 
Using cerium oxide and a wool pad in hand drill will take those scratches out. I can pm you the details later if you like.

I would be okay with some left behind

I just ordered the powder and felt pad but it's gonna take a week and half to get here. I'll post the before and after. but was thinking of trying some baking soda to start off cause i'm too impatient

I hope it's not coming USPS, they are slower than a herd of turtles lately...

I've had stuff coming from them sit for 3 - 4 days in my regional distribution center... One package went from my regional center to loop around to Des Moines, IA, and then back to my regional distribution center in Chicago 5 days later while the other 3 boxes sat at the regional center...

I had an order get shipped locally here that shipped yesterday get to my front door this afternoon by UPS....

Go with UPS or FedEx if you have a choice, USPS is slower than old people f*ck lately....
 
So I got started last night on polishing the driver's glass. Man it's messy!!! I did drape off the car as best I can with plastic but that stuff gets everywhere. Was making good progress I think with the DEEP scratches but had to stop cause the drill was getting super hot that I switched over to my cordless and drained the battery pretty quick. This is gonna take lots of time.

Update: finally done enough to where I’m okay with the results. Still have some real deep scratches but this is way better than what I started with.
