What does the valve measure across in diameter?

The early 340 manifold kit is different than the later kit.

BIG price difference

This is an over $150 kit. Lot more, if 340. I bet some parts flippers are already PM’ing him

The repro is $150

Here’s the repro for $145

Heat Riser Kit 1968-70 340, Exhaust Manifolds/Components, 199-DR085 Reproduction, NOS and Used Mopar Muscle Car Parts

It does not have stamping on the round weight like originals.

I think even most (all?) NOS is actually different than OE. Originals factory ones have a thin round weight.

Read here: Anyone know if there are 340 heat riser kits available?

I saw one 68-70 NOS from Brads NOS for $389. Says out of stock

He’s always high and gets full retail for his parts. And will sit on them to get it.

I’m thinking true sale for a 68-70 no package ALL parts is $200-250 Like here from 2017 eBay listing:

Do you have EVERY PART shown in the ad in you no-box kit?

A later 318/360 on sold here for $83:
[FOR SALE] - NOS Mopar heat riser kit 72 - 73 340 360 part number 3683947

So you better find out which on you have.

I think that may be for a big block. The 340 kit should not have that extra (black) bracket/weight. The thin weight was used on early 340's.

The 340 T/A repos on ebay lack any heat riser. Did T/A casting have a riser?

Not sure if the original TA 340 had a heat riser but I think they did. They were left off the repro basically for cost plus the fact that most people remove them anyways.

2 1/4" butterfly. That should make it for a 340 or 360 unless it fits a big block. I'm not up on my counterweights but it looks like it could be from a big wedge.

It is 2 1/4” to give sufficient clearance..

Just measured mine in garage
