I wish Fred but the blood supply got shut off due to plaque and killed about 60-75% of the optic nerve so nothing can be done. My peripheral vision is perfect and that allowed me to drive forklift. Maybe in the future who knows but I'd forgo that if my daughter's hearing could be repaired. The only thing they can do for my daughter is do a cochlear implant but most deaf people will reject that unless they are young kids or maybe teenagers. The one thing older deaf people hate is to be called "Hearing Impaired". They want to be called DEAF. As they say "My ears aren't drunk". People just trying to be politically correct is who started that. If you are talking to a deaf person make sure you look at them and not turn your head because they can't read your lips. Jen has an app. on her phone that she now uses. She just opens it and people with a mask can talk into the phone and it prints it out. She loves in and working in a craft store she gets asked questions by customers and now she can answer them. Really neat!!
Your a good man Mark kids do come first.
I can't talk to people with a mask on If I can't see there mouth I can't here them.
