Visited with my engine block today....

ask your auto machinist if they actually do line boring on that machine as apposed to just honing please.

had one set up for Chevies, another for everythig else

A few months ago I was talking to the shop foreman about my desire to learn the machinist trade if I was a bit younger. Told him I would start at the bottom degreasing, disassembly and such... he damn near gave me a start date!!!

Had to talk my way out of that... a REAL JOB? No thanks!!!

Got a small package today from Competiton Products...
 
Shop foreman called today....cant believe he asked me if they were to bore just one cylinder (the one they sleeved) or all eight...cuz he only had one piston for the block.

I supposed better safe than sorry...

So I get an email telling me my engine block IS DONE!!!!!

Should get it Monday...

BTW...it's now .040 over.
