I have rebuilt several of them.. they are still chilling air in my cars (except for the one I over reved and put the reed valves into the head of the pistons). Flush the system and compressor GOOD then I used Ester oil, it is a bit more compatible with the old mineral oil that was in it. Always replace the dryer when you have the system open.
