I have the 340 version. Follow the directions for filling it. Check the pick up depth. Mine needed extended.

I just bought this pan recently. I Notched the k frame, still hit. Had to cut 3/4 or so of an inch off the corner. Here’s a link to the before I cut the pan. https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/kevko-318-340-kick-out-oil-pan-needs-trimming-for-clearance.468231/#post-1973053598

here’s
a couple pics after cutting the pan it was still not welded at this point. This provided 1/2 inch clearance between the corner of the pan and the k-frame. This is on a 1970 duster 318 motor.

If you want more pics of the underside of the pan or inside let me know. The kevko site shows the baffles but you can’t see the three hinge trap doors. I also put 4 quarts of water in my old 318 stock pan and 6 quarts into this pan and the level below the pan rail/gasket area was the same, so your old dipstick should still be accurate assuming the old pan was exactly 4 quarts.

An added note that when I contacted kevko about my clearance they offered to fix it for me, but I’m in Canada and I didn’t want to pay for shipping again so I did it myself. If you want to go with this pan they may modify it for you for free.

Thanks guys that is the info. That's what I wanted to know before buying one.

Did your pan fit your car without k frame notching and or pan notching? What car did it go into?

I don't think we did. It went into my 69 GTS. I have Poly mounts and I installed the K to the engine then put it all up from the bottom. The car is in the air now I can take a look later and snap a photo.

You actually did a nice job of clearancing that pan.....usually you see lots of bashing in and chopping up...

thanks. I was fortunate enough that I’m changing pans during a rebuild, so it’s quite easy for me to plunk an empty block with pan in and out of the car. I think some guys are in a rush or don’t have the time to be putting the engine in the car multiple times to get it just right so at some point the hammer does the clearancing.
