Selling my 408 going with turbo, The problem is I know nothing about turbos, and I mean nothing, Want blow through carburetor, Have several holly four barrel double pumper’s, to work on. And is maxpeedingrod turbos OK for first timers They have Exhaust manifold and turbo for sale has anybody seen it or used it? HELP PLEASE

Already have four barrel intake on the car don’t know what kind of intake manifold it is bolts right up with the exhaust manifold sure must be some type of Stockdale have no idea will post pic later no name on it that I can find

I don't know much about turbocharging past theory. I've built a couple of blown engines. Do you have a turbo yet? I ask because I have a nice one brand new that I am ending up not using. It's not the run of the mill eBay turbo. It came from Germany. Built in waste gate, water and oil cooled.

No I am looking for turbo and any other parts u might have

I have a turbo, so I am confused why you said "no". But ok.
I meant I did not have a turbo but I am looking for one sorry about the confusion plus like I said any other parts for turbo charger in this car and should I run an inner cooler on it via piping kit and stuff

this guy here is installing a turbo in his garage. I know every car/engine will require certain differences, but the turbo part works the same.

You need to bring oil to the turbo and return it to the engine. most return it through a fuel pump bolt hole. You'll have to do alot of trial and error on pipe fittings, turbo to manifold, plumbing the pressure side up to the carb, waste gate will need vacuum and a blow off pipe.

A blow through carb is going to be pretty tough to tune. Especially since your knowledge of turbos is limited. Fueling is only one small part of boost, timing is also really critical in balancing power and total engine failure. No knock sensors to be found on those old super sixes. I'd do an msd and some sort of efi. Having full control of spark and fuel will make the tuning process so much easier and effective.

Go to the forced induction section here, lots of /6 turbo builds there, even a sticky with a lot of them.
