I have 4 roller cam era small blocks that I am working on right now. I just went out and checked to see if the head bolt holes went to the water jacket, but they were all blind. I have seen sbc's have that when the builder didn't put sealer on the head bolts. So you are good there. How were the intake gaskets at the water ports?
I wouldn't eat it, but you could maybe shave with it....
