2006-era Ram 3500 transmissions - good or bad?

99% sure that in 06 the diesel could have a 48RE or a 545RFE, the gas was only offered with a 545RFE. The 48RE did have a problem with breaking soliniod plate bolts, there are factory and aftermarket upgrades available to remedy this.
