1960 Valiant Overcenter Spring and Clutch Questions
Working on sorting out the drivetrain on my Toad and working on getting the clutch linkage setup today and have a couple of questions.
First the overcenter spring; I see for 63 and up but I cannot find any info on the early models.

This is what I am used to seeing online...
I don't see any holes for the spring clip and there is no spring either (although that doesn't mean much as I was missing a lot of these pieces as it was a previous push button auto car).
Am I missing the spring? And if so where is the attachment point?
Secondly, the pics aren't great but I have what appears to be an after market clutch.
Any chance someone can ID it? Trans is a A903 3-speed.
