Pushrod question.

Have you checked your pushrod length? Lifter preload? 402 spring rate sounds pretty heavy to me I think the recommended for that cam is 342.
Correction its 363. The recommended valve spring is part number 72949. Here are the specs.
What springs are you running now?
I would start with the pushrod length and verify that's not the problem first tho
