Hi guys, I am having issues with my airshocks slightly rubbing my gas tank on my 73 scamp. I just installed a 8 3/4 rear and read on a post about mopar having special upper shock bolts with spacers on to accomodate airshocks. Any of you know where to find a pair or aftermarket shock bolts that anyone used to remedy this problem?
I've installed several sets of these, and never had to use special shock bolts. Are you putting the thick spacer washer on the top bolt first, then the shock, then the thin washer? maybe your gas tank has moved a bit?
