1960 Valiant Overcenter Spring and Clutch Questions
Well I went ahead and pulled out the pedal hanger and made up my own spring clip from a leftover sun visor that I had bought to pirate the Homelink out of.
The over center spring came from a 66 Valiant at the local PnP (by the time I figured I needed the clip it had been taken along with the pedal assembly).
I cleaned it up later with a file to remove any rough edges.
Now time to work on the clutch rod; as it sits in the car it is way too high which is OK since the spring sets on the connector as you can see.
