440- Engine oil dip stick

I'd say just use the pan mfg. capacity and mark the stick for it. The characteristics between a stock and aftermarket pan could be dramatic. Extra oil added in the aftermarket may be a drawback or just a waste.
Its funny, because after really trying to figure out what pan i have, I'm more confused, lol.
Milodon pan, either a 30935 or 30936, I'm not sure.
You can see mine has 3 ribs like the 30936, but doesn't have the drop down tail piece.
Then the 30935 has 4 ribs, but no drop down tail part.
One is an 8 quart, the other is a 7.
Looking over measurements, mine is 8.5 inches from the block bolts to the bottom of the pan.
Neither of the other 2 are that, one is less, the other is more.
Pics are from the Milodon site.
Awesome..
