Ok. This evening, I was relaxing in my pool, looking up in the sky, when I saw an airplane flying about 35 to 40 K in the sky, with a bright white dot following it about a few hundred feet behind it. The white dot slowed down and the gap between it and the plane got larger and larger. Then the dot disappeared as the plane kept on going. I don’t know what it was, but this was definitely unidentifiable. What the heck was that? (FYI, I am a licensed and experienced pilot.)

That would be a UFO.
Unidentified
Flying
Object.
The truth is you don’t know what it was exactly.
Alien spacecraft? Maybe! Space gas? Meteor?

One night I was just relaxing on my patio where I seen a star moving south to north. I just thought it was a space X satellite or something. Suddenly a flash with a trail of fire bolts East at a crazy speed and disappear behind my house. The moving star just kept on truckin until it disappeared.

That’s my UFO story.
Space station launching a rocket?
Left over ‘70’s hallucinogenics dislodging from some long stored corner of my brain.
IDK! I don’t care, it was cool as heck.

If mankind is truly the only intelligent species in the universe, then I say what a great waste of space!!!!

Didnt the US Gov just release/admit to UFO sightings?
I remember driving home from work 20 years ago and saw a bunch of bright lights that appeared to be zig zagging.
Got home mentioned it to gf...she thought I was looney.:realcrazy:
Went to work next day and coworker asked if we saw the meteor shower lol.
I'm a believer

One of my favorite things I have heard:

The way 2020 is going, Aliens will land on Planet Earth before the end of the year.

If there is intelligent life Elsewhere in the universe, and they are significantly advanced enough to visit our planet, why do they only visit toothless people in the middle of nowhere?

I saw a UFO at burger King....

Turned out it was just a really huge hamburger coming at my face, and it was awesome

I saw one when I was a kid, turned out to be a plane with an add scrolling under its wings but it was so high it was unreadable and made it look like it was rotating, made the local newspaper! Recently (about 6 years ago) I was in my backyard looking straight up on a clear moonless night enjoying the limited stars we get to see as city dwellers. I see something moving that is only blocking the stars, but it has no discernable shape but it has 3 very dim lights (starlike dim) on it like a triangle. Military trained me to focus on some fixed point and look for peripheral movement around it when its dark (surveillance) and that's the only way I could pick it out. I yell to my kid to bring my 15X80 binos but he cant find them. I just kept watching it as I didnt think I could pick it out again if I went inside to get them. I watched it for about 3 minutes just 'orbiting' but it was very high. If you extended your hand above your head and took 2 fingers you could have covered up the 'orbit' that this thing was doing. It wasn't spinning but was just kinda pivoting around a central point. I live under a flight path of a major airport, planes landing every 10 minutes during rush hour so it had to be very high to not interfere with the glide path of all these commercial planes. Sounds corny but the internet already describes this subsonic 'craft' as the TR-3A "Black Manta". Even with 'billions and billions of stars" out there the physics of a planet to support life as we know it are pretty slim due to: radiation, proximity of neighboring stars and their maturity, massive gravitational differences, mineral content of these rocky planets, even the existence of radioactive matter and the geological dynamics of a habitable planet really cut the odds down. They may be out there but its no Star Trek.

A. Because in the middle of no where, there are less witnesses....

B. Who's going to believe a redneck that says they saw a UFO....

I saw this on TV after I moved back here... It happened before I moved back, but is interesting... Tinley Park is not far from me, less than 10 miles...

Funny enough, there was an Ozzy Osborne concert at the local outdoor theater and many of the patrons saw this and called it in... At first the police thought it was the drugs that most Ozzy fans take, but after many other local residents called it in, they took it more seriously...

Ever seen the International Space Station go by early evening? It's easily seen and looks different from planes.
