Hi everybody:

I was wondering if Lokar's kickdown kits for 727s come with throttle cables. Thanks

No it comes with the cable for the transmission kickdown. You’ve gotta buy the throttle cable also.

I would suggest it if you using an aftermarket intake. RPM, Stealth, Air Gap, and possible other have a raised carb pad.

Air Gap..I'll use the stock one then. Just took the throttle cable holder off of the old 318 and will clean it up and paint it.

Just FYI:

I am running the stock Throttle cable with a Lokar KD cable on my Air Gapped 408/727.

I bought some nice brackets from AR Engineering - they work perfectly in this application.

My stock cable barely worked with a Stealth. God only knows if it was the original.

They have a website and Mancini sells them (and I had never heard of them before. Just a few keystrokes in Google)
