Hurst Shifter help

Will a Hurst 3916789 work with A body linkage for a non OD 833? It's listed as a 66-72 B Body on Hurst's website. I have a line on a brand new one for cheap but don't want to spend money on something that won't work. Thanks.

if it does fit you will have to use the Hurst aftermarket linkage if it has the .500 diameter holes. and you may have to find a shifter nandle if that one doesnt work.

Thanks for the help. I'm pretty green on all 4 speed parts, would it be possible to use a bushing on the original linkage to mate with the 1/2" shifter holes?
