that seems like an AR variety to me, nothing special and i have not read anything that would suggest it was anything other then a semi auto
if it truly is an AR it would run a 556 round which is smaller then most hunting calibers
the bullet only weights around 55 grains
just for comparison, my home defense stick uses 124 grain bullets
But a cop shooting a guy 7 times in the back in front of his kids is extreme. Maybe once or twice to subdue the guy if he's got a knife or gun but 7 times?
i dont think you realize what it takes to subdue a guy
(and truth be told, neither do i)
but once you make the decision to pull that trigger you do not stop until after the thread is subdued
and keep in mind, this guy made the decision to get shot for the cop when he decided not to comply and try to arm himself
his own actions is what got him shot, and HE is the one who decided to give his kids a bad example
