Coke, an experiment

I remember a story that friend of mine told me. He used to work at one of the Coke plants where they mix the ingredients using the raw products. His told me that the towers where the ingredients were mixed were 4 or 5 stories high. He had to climb (grated stairways) to the different levels to take samples for quality control of the product at each step of the process. He worked there for quite a few years. His main complaint was that every couple of years (3-4 years) the metal grates would get so corroded from the chemical ingredients (spillage, leaks, overflows, taking test samples, etc) that it would become unsafe to climb. The "stuff" they put in Coke would eat the metal grates to the point of failure!! He said that it was a real pain to shut down a tower to replace all the stairways and platforms just so he could take his samples. He remembers walking on the grating as it "stuck" to his rubber boots....sticky sugars and other chemicals). He said that after that job he would NEVER drink a Soda again because it would gross him out knowing what the chemical ingredients did to all that heavy metal grating..........DRINK UP AND ENJOY!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::mad::poke::realcrazy::wtf:
