Coke, an experiment

I remember a story that friend of mine told me. He used to work at one of the Coke plants where they mix the ingredients using the raw products. His told me that the towers where the ingredients were mixed were 4 or 5 stories high. He had to climb (grated stairways) to the different levels to take samples for quality control of the product at each step of the process. He worked there for quite a few years. His main complaint was that every couple of years (3-4 years) the metal grates would get so corroded from the chemical ingredients (spillage, leaks, overflows, taking test samples, etc) that it would become unsafe to climb. The "stuff" they put in Coke would eat the metal grates to the point of failure!! He said that it was a real pain to shut down a tower to replace all the stairways and platforms just so he could take his samples. He said that after that job he would NEVER drink a Soda again because it would gross him out knowing what the chemical ingredients did to all that heavy metal grating..........DRINK UP AND ENJOY!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::mad::poke::realcrazy::wtf:
Oh yeah as a lab technician I had to sample and check tanks and stuff like that. Sometimes you have to stick your head in one of the tanks of syrup to see how low it's getting so the filler station knows when to shut off before it just starts filling the cans with soda water LOL.. anyways especially the Rockstar it was so potent in its concentrated form that it would take your breath away completely! I would pull my head out and start choking and coughing so bad I thought I was going to puke...
