All the correct parts are available for less than $100.
Why go through all the trouble and money to stroke out a motor, only to get chincy on the little things. Where's the shake my head button ?
i guess when you spend 4 dollars that you really dont have you will understand why i went this route. i am tapped out on building this from bare sheet metal and i am just trying to get it running at this point.
Looks fine to me. I'd have probably slid the cable up to eliminate 1 link, but should work fine. Two throttle springs of course. Yours is a stick shift I assume? I don't see kickdown linkage..
