Kid, I know what the round floats function is and I see a return line, very nice.
What is the other brass looking doodad that is attached to the outlet tube?

Edit: What is the doodad attached halfway up the outlet tube?

the cylinder is the float. the arm attaches to the resistor that sends the signal to your gauge.
 
It is listed 63-76
At the bottom is a filter
Just like OEM
Above that is a float
Just like OEM
Above that is the sending unit that triggers the gauge
Different style same result
No low fuel light
 
I’m interested in it. Would you be willing to measure the sending unit with an ohm meter.

I think full is 10ohms and empty is 73. Could be the other way around too.
