Can a 78 Volare cruise control setup work in a 74 duster?

Yeah, I'll be sure to get EVERY little bit of the entire system, including all the little parts from the throttle linkage. I'll use the illustration above with my original post to make sure I get all the stuff. Not sure how I'll get the turn signal stalk off. Any ideas?

You have to pull the steering wheel to get to the screw that holds it in. Then fish the wiring up the column. On the two I salvaged, all the wiring for the cruise was separate and could be removed from the car.
