I'm trying to clean up the engine bay and the heater hoses laying on the valve cover are irritating to me.

I want to use regular rubber hose but I'd like to move them over to run along the top of the fender and then come back to the water pump in a cleaner fashion.

I know that some Chevrolets had heater hose brackets that would clamp onto the fender but I can't seem to identify one that's easy to modify.
I also wouldn't particularly want any type of billet clamp or chinsy hot rod stuff under the hood black steel and rubber is preferred?

Any suggestions or share my sentiment for orderly engine bays ?

Depends, what Model and engine?
This is the 69 big block Dart, as close to original looking as I could get it, with:
-heater hose alternator bracket
-fender bracket
-2 aluminum straps
-clamps:

Slant engine on a 64 dart with narrow engine bay .

I like that fender bracket that holds them down with an Allen , what does the factory call that ?

The bracket shown above is for later A bodies. I have a repop of the original 65 bracket on my 65 Barracuda with 340.

On my 63 Valiant slant six, I just run the hoses next to the valve cover which I think looks a little cleaner on the slant than running the hoses over to the fenderwell. However, the early A V8 fenderwell hose bracket or even the later A hose bracket shown above would work well if you prefer that look for your slant.

This is how mine are routed now and for some reason it drives me nuts. your engine is muuuch cleaner tho ! nice looking !

My grandfather made this bracket way back, I have kept it on the car through the restoration. I've run the hoses below and over.

Thanks. I seriously considered routing the hoses over to the inner fender like on my 65. But the heater hoses are gonna cross over the rear of a slant six valve cover no matter how you route them. And it seemed to me like they would be more obvious if routed over to the inner fender. Soooo . . . I just left them as is. Who knows? - may change my mind later.

I thought I saw someone on here running some hard lines for heater hoses. I recall it looked awesome but can’t find it.

That's a super primo trunk mat I bought out of Australia. Don't recall which vendor (Blue Star Spares are now out of biz, but there are others).

Kind of funny that I did so, because I wound up selling the whole car and 30-year collection of parts…into Australia!
