Any of you go out and work on your cars when you can't sleep. Or wake up in the middle of the night and are wide awake and can't go back to sleep. Am I the only one? It's 2 am and I just removed the drivers seat that was in the car when I got it and removed the rest of the carpet.

I don’t go out to work on my car until 11pm to 3am, nobody bothers me then. I’ll get a lot more done because of the peace and quiet. And it’s a cool 90 degrees unlike 105 degrees like during the day.

sleeping is a big issue for me also, but I am not retired and still have to get up at 5:30. I tried to get enough physical exercise throughout the day to make myself tired and I take a sleeping aid Ambien three times a week. I have to stay on a routine or I could wake up 30 times a night easy. I have to sleep alone most of the time with my wife in the room across the hall. A fan for white noise and I've been doing a little better lately.

I have several friends who are older and have been insomniacs for their entire lives. Since marijuana became legal they take one hit of vapor before bedtime and sleep all night long with no ill side effects. They don't do it to get high. One or two inhalations of vapor or smoke and they sleep like babies.
My good friend is 54 and has been an insomniac his whole life. 3 hours a night at the most. He works all day and works out as well.
Since he started the marijuana he has lost 90 pounds, sleeps 7-8 hours a night and can now truly focus on his work during the day and says he is 90% more productive in a work day.
This has taken away the addiction to pharmaceutical drugs for sleep. All pharms have side effects.
Yal might want to try that if you need to sleep.

This.

My doctor has always said if I cannot sleep, just get up and do something.
