Pancreatic cancer

Well....Jim has been in and out of the hospital multiple times since having the Whipple surgery done. Drain gets plugged, gets an infection and back to the hospital he goes. When he is home, despite what the Oncologist has told him about drinking he still is. When he is home it sounds like he is in the bathroom, with all sort of nasty things coming out of both ends.
He is 79 years old, which is 10 years older than what I thought.
Ernie has been helping out his wife, taking her grocery shopping and what not. They recently adopted a very energetic year old pup that they decided to "rehome".
From what I understand the surgery did get all of the tumor, but the caner has spread. Taylor is planning on Jim not being around much longer. He spent close to 90k on a fifth wheel about 5 years back, to go hunting. I think it has been used 4 times, Taylor is looking for the paper work on it so she can sell it. Asked Ernie if I knew of anyone that might want his truck.
Taylor has a ton of health issues, decided that all the meds she was taking for them were not helping so she stopped taking them. Past few nights she has called Ernie at 11:30 at night, damn near in a full on panic attack. Ernie convinced her today to start taking her meds again.
