I bought that adapter that seems to lengthen the linkage but I just don't see how that's going to help since it looks like the kickdown linkage is offset too much with the intake manifold that I'm running. I've noticed that the 340 four barrel linkage has a bend to it.View attachment 1715593485
You could replace the thick nut on the throttle/kickdown pin with a thinned nut. The adapter is to lengthen the adjustment. The rear part of the slot needs to rest against the pin and a spring needs to hold the kickdown forward against that pin.
