Hey! I wanted to take a min to let everyone know it appears “AJE Suspension” is quite far behind.

Long and short of the story I was told by AJE to order my complete a-body front tubular k member and rack kit from Jegs to get best price.

So I did just that on June 5. I was told 6-8 weeks and I know COVID is really wreaking havoc, but I waited 9 weeks till I inquired with Jegs, and they said it would ship the next week. I then waited and inquired 3 weeks later and still there was no idea of when the unit would ship etc. Sadly I had to cancel the order.

To be honest I don’t have a reason I didn’t use one of the other guys, I am in a car build with my father and we decided to use AJE. Could have been price, or just an easy score on Jegs (we see how that worked out ). I am still in the market, but exploring other options.

Another bummer is I also purchased the Viking Double Adj. coil overs to fit the front kit, and not sure if they will take back. Not sure if they will work on a different set up of not?

“These are the days of our lives!”

I just purchased a car with AJE suspension with street uppers. I was at S&W race cars buying the cage add on and chute mounts and saw they are a dealer for AJE. While there I asked if they could get me the Viking shocks. They sold me QA-1s , I asked about the race upper arms and they called AJE. $600 for the arms and they are 10 weeks behind.

I have $750 into the suspension and its new. I guess I'll have to use the arms I have for now. I refuse to pay $600 for 2 bare control arms, Yes that was the price for the arms bare no ball joints or rod ends. When ever I think of their price on the arms HDK is looking better .

Where are they located. China? LOL.

If I didn't get the suspension with the Valiant I would have bought HDK. I still might depends on what the K looks like after we remove the LS mounts they fabbed on the K. We are using a front engine plate for the mount . We may just sell the suspension. The brakes and parts are heavy. Weight means everything. We are going with Strange race brakes front and rear.

Update:
So I have cancelled the order that started this whole thread on Sept.5, and Jegs tells me to give them about 2-3 days to get refund. I thought that was fair so I waited a couple days and check the account and still no refund.

Long story short today 3 packages show up here at the house - I received a k member , a manual rack and pinion kit, and a POWER rack and pinion set. No control arms at all, I don’t know what happened.
After waiting 46 mins to get a representative on phone at Jegs last time to request my refund I am not sure I am ready to fight the battle to figure this out, what a pain in the a$$!!

AJE has had a lot of problems the last couple years. The 60's Ford guys have had nothing but trouble from what I have been seeing on the other forums. Stuff not fitting, long wait times, little to no instructions and in some cases sub-par welding on misc. parts. That being said have heard good stuff on the late model stuff so....

I called AJE because nothing fit on the ball joints to use the mustang spindles. I come to find out that the person who originally owned the car only bought the K-member. The guy I bought it from used a different upper and bought the AJE lowers.
Well I just had to order Uppers ,shock brackets and ball joint mounts for mopar spindles from AJE. $1187.00
spindles from firm feel $440. and
brakes from strange for $712.00.

My deal on the Valiant wasn't as good as I thought. So my total for everything with the other parts that came with the car was $3789. with the QA-1 shocks. That will never happen again. It was the trouble of figuring everything out that was wrong that was the hassle and I still don't know if the brakes will be a direct fit on the drop spindles.

This is all very sad to me, looking back I was looking to see what made me order that kit and I assume price, now I am stuck in the middle.

The packages came and the k member was a little beat up from shipping- sorta seen that coming-

I totally understand, I hope they are able to get you your pieces,
