Hello,We are about to paint & clear the under carriage of 72 Demon my question is do you undercoat the wheel wells with undercoat and paint/ are just paint & clear. car will be driven. Thanks KB9GIB
 
I’ve painted the whole bottom of my car with black urethane 2k paint.
 
I use barbeque grill black paint in the wheel wells of my drivers. It is super dark black and mud cleans off easy.
 
The way the factory did it was after paint the wheel wells were undercoated. It that is what you were asking.

Ok thanks that’s what I was looking for paint and then undercoat I wasn’t sure how it was done. Thanks for your help KB9GIB southern Illinois
 
Got this stuff at Napa. I like it and you can paint over it I believe.

Yes, I have a body that was bead blasted 10 yrs ago, and then epoxy primered. How you think I should prep before undercoating ?
